  • Appointment Information

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. To ensure we can accommodate all patients, please provide at least 24 business hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

    Key Details:

    • Cancellation Notice: Call the office during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM).

    • Late Cancellations/No-Shows: A fee of $75 to $100 will be charged, depending on your session type. This fee is not covered by insurance.

    Important Notes:

    • After-Hours and Weekend Notices: Cancellations or emails sent outside of business hours (including weekends) will not be reviewed until the next business day.

    • Monday Appointments: To cancel or reschedule a Monday appointment, you must call by Friday, 5 PM.

    Office Phone: 757-233-1500

Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a fee, as it prevents another patient from utilizing that time.

  • Our office is available to answer calls during business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Please refrain from emailing, texting, or calling your therapist’s personal phone. While your therapist may occasionally reach out to you directly, all communication should be directed through the office.

  • If you need paperwork completed by our office, please allow 7 business days for processing.

For medication refills, please call 4 to 5 business days in advance. Refills will only be processed during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Refills will not be processed at night, on holidays, or on weekends.

  • It is your responsibility to inform the office of any changes to your insurance before your appointment. Failure to provide updated insurance information may result in you being held fully responsible for the cost of your session.

  • We are committed to fostering a respectful and positive environment. We will treat you with courtesy and respect, and we expect all interactions with our staff, whether in person or over the phone, to be the same. Disrespectful or rude behavior may result in dismissal from the practice.
