Dr. Kannarkat received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology from Howard University and completed specialized clinical training in Pediatric Psychology at the University of Maryland Hospital and Clinical Child Psychology at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center. A tenured professor at Norfolk State University for 37 years, he directed the Community/Clinical Psychology Master’s Program and served as NSU’s representative for the Virginia Consortium for Professional Psychology.
